Chapter 4 - The Dashing Doctor...

Autum DeVille used to be married to Daniel DeVille, the Chief of Staff for Pleasantview hospital. The guy that I mentioned earlier. They met while Autumn was at university and Daniel was there as a guest lecturer for one semester. She was blonde, bold and alot of fun and Daniel was immediately hooked by her charm and energy.

Everyone, meet Daniel DeVille...

No one knows why handsome Daniel carries this scar on his cheek or why he moved to small, sleepy Pleasantview after graduating with honours from medicine at Simcity University. He could have stayed in Simcity or moved to the lights of Capital City.

On coming to Pleasantview, he first moved to lower Westside Pleasantview where people with not much money come to live. Its considered the wrong side of the tracks if you like. He moved into a poky weatherboard house across the street from Brandi Broke, my mum, and they hit it off immediately.

Whilst Daniels career escalated with promotion after promotion at the hospital, Brandi continued to fall in love with the handsome doctor from Simcity. He was kind to us and often bought me toys and gifts for mum. He kept her company. He was her best friend. I recall mum crying the day when Daniel moved to Pleasntview Heights. There Daniel had a view of the sea and rubbed shoulders with the other wealthy folk in Pleasantview.

He soon forgot us.

Until the day we recieved an invite to his and his finance Autumns wedding.

We went, along with most of Pleasantview, but I could see that mum didn't approve of Autumn. She thought that Autumn was not after Daniel but rather his money. She had met Autumn not long after Daniel got back from his guest speaking role at the local university. It was hard not to miss Autumn, especially as she had moved in with Daniel.

But having said that, Brandi was not Autumns favourite person either. She was jealous of Brandi and her friendship with Autumn's new husband.

And here is the blushing bride....

Autumn was possessive of Daniel to the extreme and it was easy to see that nothing good was going to become of Brandi's friendship with Daniel. Who would have guessed that in the end, it was to be the demise of their marriage...
